Temptation is not a sin; temptation is taking a God given desire for you to benefit from and bring glory to his name. Temptation comes along and perverts the given desire to dishonor God. 1st John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Sin will take you further than you want to go and keep you longer than you want to stay! 1st Cor. 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with temptation he will also provide a way of escape, that you may be able to endure. God is faithful and will not let the temptation get through. With every temptation there will always be a way of escape.
